Biography
Judge Michael L. Sheridan serves as a judge for the cities of South Fulton and Stonecrest, the DeKalb County State Court and the Georgia Municipal Court. He is a partner at the law office of Davis & Sheridan, LLC, with more than 10 years of general litigation experience, specializing in family law, criminal defense and personal injury. In addition, he served as an adjunct professor in paralegal studies and ethics at Georgia Military College.

Sheridan earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Howard University in 1998. After graduating, he worked in the financial services industry for five years before enrolling in law school, receiving a juris doctor from the University of Georgia in 2006.

Recognized as a Rising Star® in General Litigation (2015-2016), Sheridan is a member of several civic and professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, Gate City Bar Association and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. He previously served on the boards of the Lithonia Downtown Development Authority and Challenge Charter Academy.


Family Life
Sheridan is a lifelong member of Ben Hill United Methodist Church. He is married to Kimberly Sheridan and has two beautiful daughters, Leah and Lauren.
