In Sandtown, a significant percentage of crashes in the area were related to angle collisions, so it was a no-brainer: A roundabout was the optimal solution. After the completion of the $8 million roundabout in spring 2022, residents voted to further enhance the space with a visual gateway by commissioning the local arts community.
