[ARCHIVED] City opens Warming Station


Ahead of the expected plunging temperatures, The City of South Fulton’s Emergency Management Agency has opened the Burdett Park Multipurpose Center as a warming station for those in need of shelter.

Residents that may experience an extended period with a loss of power or those needing shelter are encouraged to go to the warming center located at 2945 Burdett Road, South Fulton, GA 30349, during its hours of operation beginning on December 22, 2022, at 4:30 pm thru December 27, 2022, at 8:00 am.

To protect the health and safety of guests and staff, pets, livestock, and non-domesticated animals are prohibited from entering the Warming Station, except for approved Service animals.
