The 90-day limited access to New Hope Road begins Tuesday, Feb. 23. Residents on New Hope Road will continue to have access to their homes from the Bruce Place and Montcalm Drive intersection at the northern end of New Hope Road.
“Our team is working with GDOT to install a temporary signal at Reynolds Road and Boat Rock Road to help residents get around easier during the partial road closure,” said Antonio Valenzuela, director of public works for the City of South Fulton.
Detour signs will direct traffic along the following routes for those accessing New Hope Road from Boat Rock Road:
- Continue northbound Boat Rock Road
- Eastbound (right) on Bruce Place
- Southbound (right) on New Hope Road
Traffic accessing Boat Rock Road from New Hope Road will be detoured to the following streets:
- Northbound on New Hope Road
- Westbound (left) on Bruce Place
- Southbound (left) on Boat Rock Road
