District 3 Councilwoman Helen Z. Willis will host a panel discussion on June 1 from 4-6 p.m. at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church – 4707 Washington Rd. College Park, Ga. 30349. On the panel will be the United States Department of Labor National Director of Job Corps Rachel Torres and many others including: Derrek Sanks (Division Chief Division of Facilities and Asset Management), Jillian Matz (Head of Contracting Activity Office of Job Corps Acquisition Services), Antonio Valenzuela (Director of Public Works), Artie Jones (Director of Economic Development) and Keith Meadows (Police Chief of the South Fulton Police Department). All of the participants will be available to answer questions residents may have regarding the program.
