The project scope includes the installation of 5' wide concrete ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant sidewalks. Additional improvements include curb and gutter, drainage and pedestrian lighting on both sides of Danforth Road from Rohoboth Circle to Cascade Road. The approximate length of the project is 0.8 miles.
Campbellton Road at Stonewall Tell Road

The proposed project will improve safety and provide congestion relief at the intersection with the addition of left and right turn lanes on all approaches and installation of traffic signals on mast arm signal poles. Additional improvements include curb & gutter, drainage, sidewalks, and streetlights
Oakley Road (CR 614) over Broadanax Creek

This project purposes to replace the substandard bridge on CR 614 Oakley Road over Broadanax Creek. The proposed typical section will include 12' lanes and 5'-6" sidewalks on the bridge.
Buffington Road From Royal South Parkway to Rock Quarry Road
Project Code: T-273
Buffington Road will be widened to 3 lanes with a 14' flush median from Royal South Parkway to Rock Quarry Road with curb and gutter and five-foot sidewalks on both shoulders. The project includes the addition of turn lanes, installation of a new stop and go traffic signal at Royal S Parkway, upgrade of the existing stop and go signal at Sable Run Road, and operational improvements to the remaining intersections (Sable Glen Lane, Ravenswood Drive, Estes Drive, and Augusta Street) within the project limits.
Buffington Road from Rock Quarry Road to SR 14/US 29

This GDOT-managed project will widen Buffington Road to four lanes from Rock Quarry Road to US 29/SR 14/ Roosevelt Hwy. Buffington Road is a two-lane urban minor arterial with several large employment centers located between Rock Quarry Road and US 29/SR 14/Roosevelt Hwy. The proposed typical section includes 12’ lanes with curb and gutter and 5’ sidewalks. The existing bridge over South Fulton Parkway will be replaced to provide four travel lanes and sidewalks.
