August Improvements Update
District 1 Project Progress
Sandtown Park
Sandtown Park is receiving several renovations consisting of several projects including the replacement of existing damaged exterior blow grade waterproofing with new materials. Wall repair and below-grade drainage installation.
The interior of the gym walls and lower walls are being repaired, scraped with new waterproofing coatings being applied to the interior walls. Roofs above gym and administrative areas are being replaced as well with the basketball gym receiving a new HVAC system to address the need of needing one.

Recent Activities:
- The downspouts replacement was completed.
- Counter flashing throughout the roofing areas is complete.
- The gutter has been fully replaced along the two sections' edges.

Trammel Crow
Trammel Crow received some new exercise equipment, and the restroom was repainted as well during the renovations. The exercise equipment replacement required the replacement of damaged equipment and the installation of a new foundation.

Cliftondale Park/South Fulton Arts Center
Current renovation design plans for Cliftondale Park/South Fulton Arts Center are on track. Designs will detail upcoming renovations to be completed to this building complex.

District 3 Project Progress
Welcome All Park Recreation Center
Welcome All-Park Recreation Center improvements consist of replacing all major roofing systems above the gymnasium, main building, skylight above the pool, and metal roofing above the pool.
Wet glazing above the main hallways is also being repaired. Interior renovations to the building include repairing water-damaged ceilings, window replacements, and slide replacements.

South Fulton Tennis Center
New work for South Fulton Tennis Center follows last years' Tennis Court replacements as the city is currently designing ADA Access Pathways from the building to the tennis court level.

Wilkerson Mill Park
Wilkerson Mill Park renovations consist of replacing the joint Press Box and Concession Stand building roofing. The current roofing before the project was old and the fascia board was damaged. Interior renovation projects include drywall ceiling, water heater, window replacement, and a new HVAC.

District 5 Project Progress
Burdett Gymnasium
Renovations of Burdett gym consist of installing a new HVAC as it's currently missing one. Security cameras are being added to the parking lot and inside the facility to address safety concerns.
Interior renovations include installing a permanent partition for the technology lab and repairing damaged ceiling trim.

District 6 Project Progress
Creel Park
Renovations around Creel Park include replacing roofing at two outdoor pavilions and an attached restroom building. Previous shingles are being removed and replaced. Future projects include upgrading the HVAC components at the community building and outdoor restrooms.
