Our department’s athletics services are paramount to the success of our department. We are looking for inspiring and enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our mission. The quality of our programming starts with ensuring we have adequate personnel in place to provide a safe, attractive, and well-maintained environment.
To engage the public in arts and culture, these volunteers assist, support, and strengthen the City of South Fulton’s vibrant cultural engagements. These volunteers will assist as ushers for production and/or events at the theatres. Cultural affairs volunteers can also become advocates for the community by assisting with our art programs.
Recreation instructors lead leisure activities for groups of patrons, both young and old. Depending on their expertise, they may offer instruction in art, sport, dance, music, swimming, and other endless opportunities. To help ensure our services provide both a safe and fun environment, all instructors will go through this process to protect the best interest of our community.
Recreation and Leisure
Volunteers are essential to recreational facilities and their operations. To foster leisure activities, these individuals ensure our ability to assist in carrying out special events and programs for the community. Recreation and Leisure volunteers assist with the department’s occasional and recurring activities.
Service-learning is an educational approach that combines classroom learning objectives with community service to provide a pragmatic, progressive learning experience while meeting societal needs.
