Georgia Cities Week
For over two decades the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) a non-profit that focuses on legislative advocacy, education, and consulting services for over 500 municipalities across Georgia, has sponsored an event called “Georgia Cities Week”, which celebrates community achievements and recognizes volunteers and city employees for their dedication and commitment to enhancing the communities in which we work, live, and play.
Therefore, the City of South Fulton is happy to announce participation in the 23rd Georgia Cities Week occurring April 24- 30th! Be sure to join the fun.
Day 1-April 25
Do you know your way around the City of South Fulton? We will post an infographic to tell you all about your city.
Day 2-April 26
Who doesn't like a scavenger hunt? Join us on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:00 am for an online scavenger hunt 5th-anniversary edition. You will hunt for things related to South Fulton and meet some wonderful people.
Day 3-April 27
Red Oak District Farmers Market is back with The Traveling Poboy will be available to order lunch from & Tropical Express will have plants for purchase! In addition to gourmet popcorn, local jewelry, fresh produce, locally sourced honey, and our information booth from the South Fulton Master Gardener's! It will be a great day.
Day 4-April 28
The city will kick off its 5th year anniversary, Celebrating South Fulton: A City on the Rise with a special event starting at 7 p.m. at the Southwest Arts Center on Thursday, April 28. The evening will feature a video premiere, special guest panel discussion, and reception.
