Downtown Development Authority
The Authority Board Members shall serve for the term of the position effective September 22, 2020. After the expiration of their initial terms, the terms of reappointed directors shall be four years. The term of a member of the Board of Directors who is also a member of the City Council shall end when such director is no longer a member of the City Council.
Members must be a taxpaying citizen of the City of South Fulton, an owner or operator of a business located within the downtown development area, and shall be a taxpayer residing in Fulton County, Georgia, one member may be a member of the City Council of the City of South Fulton and not less than four members shall be, or represent, a party who has an economic interest in the development and revitalization of the downtown development area.

The Downtown Development Authority may issue revenue bonds for the purpose of revitalizing and redeveloping the central business district of the City of South Fulton by promoting for the public good and general welfare, trade, commerce, industry and employment opportunities.
