Community Development Block Grant

Home 01The City of South Fulton is an entitlement community to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The City receives Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) to assist low-to-moderate households. The City of South Fulton is in its second program year of the 2020 - 2024 Consolidated Plan. To meet the guidelines for CDBG funding the City has prepared a Draft Annual Action Plan that outlines how CDBG funding will be spent in FY23. The public comment period is open for 30-days starting on May 22, 2023. Comments regarding the FY23 Annual Action Plan can be sent to to Interim Community Development and Regulatory Affairs Director Reginald McClendon.

Public Comment Period

The comment period will start on April 22, 2023, and will run through May 22, 2023. The City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at the Southwest Arts Center - 915 New Hope Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. During the comment period, citizens and other interested parties will be invited to provided comments on the proposed plan for CDBG funding. Copies of the draft plan is available upon request. Submit comments and plan copies to Interim Community Development and Regulatory Affairs Director Reginald McClendon.
