Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

Home 01The City of South Fulton is an entitlement community to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City receives Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) to assist low-to-moderate households. The City of South Fulton is in its second program year of the 2020 - 2024 Consolidated Plan. To meet the guidelines for CDBG funding the City has prepared a Draft Annual Action Plan that outlines how CDBG funding will be spent in FY-22. The public comment period is open for 30-days starting on July 16, 2022. Comments regarding the FY- 22 Annual Action Plan can be sent to [email protected]

Public Hearing

The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider recommendations for FY 22 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for the City of South Fulton.  The City received an allocation of $466,408.  The public hearing has been scheduled for August 16, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 5440 Fulton Industrial Blvd. SW South Fulton, GA  30336.  All comments regarding recommendations to CDBG should be sent to Derek R. Hull, Community Development Director at [email protected] no later than August 15, 2022.  A copy of the draft plan is available upon request.
