Environmental Committee

Members

Composition. Shall consist of up to three City Councilmembers and up to eight citizen members appointed by the Mayor/City Council and who are residents of the city.



TERMS. Non-City Councilmembers shall serve a two-year term commencing with the date of the first meeting.

Overview

The Environmental Committee was formed to help ensure smart, sustainable environmental initiatives related to economic development and the long-term financial viability of the City; to strengthen environmental justice policies and programs to meet the needs of low-income areas and/or areas of minority concentration.
