The City of South Fulton property taxes (also known as ad valorem taxes) are billed and collected through Fulton County Tax Commissioners office. Statements are mailed August 15th and are due by October 15th of each year.

The 2019 Millage Rate is 11.579 (0.011579); approved and adopted August 8, 2019.

South Fulton does not accept payments for property taxes. All property tax payments are to be paid directly to Fulton County.

Fulton County Annual Notice of Assessments are typically mailed out in June of each year. The County is now offering electronic delivery of your 2020 Annual Notice of Assessment. All property owners were recently mailed a postcard which contains a registration ID to be used to opt-in to receive assessment notices via email. Click here to register. The deadline to register for e-notices is June 8, 2020.

Please read the provided FACT SHEET about the 2019 Property assessments as well as a “Understanding Your Assessment Notice” insert that was included in the notices.

We encourage property owners to view their property records online at the Board of Assessors’ website, where they can view all available information about their property, as well as submit a correction or file an appeal.
