The City of South Fulton Police and the South Fulton Police Department Implemented New State Centralized Online Application Process.

Effective January 12, 2022, in accordance with House Bill 879, the City of South Fulton and South Fulton Police has implemented the new state online centralized alcohol application process.  The centralized state-wide Alcohol Licensing Portal (ALP) is a collaborative effort with local governing authorities to streamline the retail alcohol initial registration and renewal licensing process.  The web-based secure portal ensures both the State and City of South Fulton receive, review, and process all retail alcohol applications in the ALP.

All retail applicants submitting initial applications for the below license types must submit their initial application via the centralized state-wide Alcohol Licensing Portal (ALP) located on the Georgia Department of Revenue website.

  • Retail Beer/Wine
  • Retail Package (package stores)
  • Consumption on Premises (includes distilled spirits)
  • Special Event

To reach that site, please click on the link: and click to register.  No retail applications will be accepted outside of this process.  To ensure that your application goes directly to South Fulton Police, please list your city address as “South Fulton.”  Addresses listed as Fairburn, College Park, or Atlanta will need to be rerouted to South Fulton.  If you require more information on how to register a retail alcohol account, information is on the Georgia Department of Revenue site at .

New licenses for wholesale applications will continue the normal process by contacting the South Fulton Police Department and completing the same application for retail establishments.
