The Advanced Technology Section is responsible for all technology and computer related services of the department. The City of South Fulton Police Department is committed to providing our officers with “cutting edge” law enforcement technology. This enables the officers to provide the very best services to the public, whom we serve and protect.
This section is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of the police buildings and the mobile data terminals and printers in each patrol vehicle. They also are responsible for research, development, and implementation of the new law enforcement technologies. This multi-tasking section is also responsible for the issuing and maintaining body cameras, fingerprint scanners, laptop computers, and portable radios. This section is also responsible for maintaining the department's website and managing the computerized report management system (RMS).
Lt. W. Orgertrice supervises the day to day operations of the Advanced Technology Section with support from Sgt. J. Rogers.
