The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) consist of investigative units whose primary responsibility is to investigate and follow up on crimes committed against persons and property in the City of South Fulton. These type of investigations consists of, but not limited to: homicide, robbery, missing persons, sex offenses, child abuse, aggravated assault/battery, burglary, theft, fraud, forgery, vehicle thefts, internet crimes against children, domestic violence, missing persons, arson, computer crimes and credit card crimes.
This division is also responsible for all departmental records to include UCR reports, GCIC Records, Warrant Validations, departmental security efforts, fleet management.
The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of the following units/sections:

- Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC)
